NYC Modern Home stocks for apartments where the hallway is 34 inches wide and the only power outlet is behind the sofa. That constraint decides what we carry: side tables under 20 inches, shelving that climbs instead of sprawls, lamps that bring their own charging port.
Width, depth and height sit at the top of every product page rather than buried in a spec tab. Measure your gap first — it is the single thing that prevents a return.

Delivery, assembly and returns
Will this fit through my door?
Check the boxed dimensions listed on each product page, not the assembled ones. Flat-packed shelving and tables usually clear a standard 30-inch doorway; assembled items may not.
Does anything need assembly?
Bookcases, corner shelves, coat racks and most tables arrive flat-packed with hardware and instructions. Lamps, rugs, mirrors and textiles arrive ready to use.
Are the rugs really washable?
The rugs we list as washable are machine washable at the size and setting the maker specifies. That instruction is quoted on the product page.
How long does delivery take?
1-2 business days to pack, then 3-7 business days in transit — 4-9 business days in total. Free over $45, otherwise a flat $6.95.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
Return it within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging. Return postage is yours for a change of mind; if the fault or the mistake is ours, we pay it.
Do you offer counter collection?
